I am love with this!! At the UKC year end show, APBT’s took 5 of 6 Best In Shows and FOUR of them were won by dogs bred by Erin Barajas Tinsley a wonderful UKC breeder whose dogs have amazing spirit, drive and temperaments. Tim and I have had our hands on many of them. All 3 of these dogs are sisters on top through their sire. GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY won TWO BIS! This dog had a helluva year and that is how you end it right there!!

After a year since one of our dogs passed away, I decided to start looking for a new addition to the family. I have had an APBT more than a decade ago, and I had always loved the breed. After looking at a few breeders I contacted Bartin Kennels because their website gave a very good first impression. Almost immediately I got a response from Erin. She was so informative, responsive and just super nice throughout the whole process. I could tell right away that not only she was knowledgeable about the breed, but she loved and was proud of all their dogs and breeding’s. She was keeping us informed weekly about how the pups were doing, their development, etc. And when it came time to make the puppy selection she was exactly on point with what we wanted out of the dog. I honestly was looking for specific character traits more than physical attributes and Erin nailed it. She strongly recommended one of the females pups from the breeding, and I went forward with her recommendation. Our Arty (Artemis) is exactly 100% what Erin said she would be. She’s an extremely stable dog, super smart, very people driven, and just a huge cuddle bug. I have had many dogs in my life and I can certainly say that Arty so far has been the best dog I’ve ever had. She has been the best thing that has happened to us this 2024. We couldn’t be more honored and happy that Erin and her husband let us have one of their pups, and I can definitely say that it will be very likely that if at some point in the future we decide to make another addition to the family, it will be from Bartin Kennel. Thank you Erin and family for everything you guys do, for the dogs you’re producing and for letting us be part of the Bartin Kennel family. We will forever be grateful.

When I was looking for a breeder to get a puppy, Bartin Kennels was the one that stood out from the jump. The first thing you notice on the page is the beautiful dogs they have. Then I started reading their story and what they’re about and it was a no brainer to go with them. I contacted Erin and she got back to me right away. Her communication since then has been great! She is detailed and fast with replying. There is no question that she won’t take the time to reply in the best way possible for you to get your answer. I asked so many questions and she always responded in a timely and detailed manner. And that was just basic questions at the beginning. She was better once you picked a litter and the anticipation for the due date began. That was my favorite part of this entire process…the anticipation with the updates. In addition to being very detailed and a great communicator, Erin is very understanding and will try her best to accommodate you. I originally signed a contract for a litter that was due later in the summer. However, I saw a litter from a different breeding that I really liked and worked better for my timeline of trying to get a puppy home. I asked her about availability and the possibility of changing my pick/contract for a puppy from that litter. Because there were available spots, she allowed me to change the litter. She is flexible and will work with you if the opportunity is there. Once the litter came, Erin provided weekly updates with pictures and videos. I also had gotten a kitten about a month after the puppies were born. I told Erin and asked which puppy from the available ones left would be best to bring to a home with a kitten. She described the personalities of each and recommended a blue brindle male. I was hoping to get a brindle because that is my favorite color. So it worked out perfectly because I got the color I wanted and a puppy that would get along well with my kitten. She had observed his personality and the way she described he would be with my kitten is the exact way he turned out to be! Mainly that he would give him his space when the kitten had enough of him. It’s amazing how on point she was about that. My puppy and kitten are best friends now. I am more than pleased with my puppy Kovu. He has exceeded my expectations, and so did Erin. The entire process was very smooth. I never once felt stressed or pressured. Erin is very easy to work with and made this process very enjoyable. I have already recommended her to my friends and family. They will go to Erin once they’re ready for a puppy. And I look forward to going through this process again with them because it’s very exciting! I seriously cannot recommend Erin and Bartin Kennels enough! So if you’re looking to get a puppy from the best dog breed, go to the breeder that is home to the best American Pitbull Terrier in the country. That would be Evay, who happens to be Kovu’s grandmother by way of his mom Katie.

Being across the country we were very hesitant to move forward with a puppy purchase with Bartin Kennels. But after some research and interacting with Erin, it became more and more apparent that we were in good hands. We had recently said goodbye to our last American pit bull which just broke our hearts so were very concerned with finding a healthy and people loving girl to welcome home. Murphy, our growing girl came home to us via a flight nanny and Erin made the whole process seamless. We took her to the vet the next day and found out we have a beautiful and very healthy pup. Since then she has tripled in weight and has remained 100% free of health issues including worms. This girl, at 8 weeks old, learned her name, sit, and the clicker for training. I got my Fendi girl from Bartin’s kennel March 2024. Erin was a dream to work with . She sent many Photos & videos and we had so many questions and she was so patient and helps you with all questions and needs . I picked the most high energy girl of course, lol 
When I traveled to pick Fendi up we spent half of the day at Erin’s home and I was so impressed with her Facility, it was awesome and her dog’s were so impressive. Erins dogs and puppies speak for themselves amongst others. I was going to get my female spayed and she is turning out so nice I decided differently . My female at just of 8 months old is a UKC champion thanks to Erin and also loves pulling weights. I never dreamed I would be doing this with my female but she loves all of this and is very athletic. I have had a number of dogs in the past, but have always been in love with the American Pitbull Terrier. I have been wanting one for a number of years, but before I got a dog I did my homework. I must have researched every breeder and kennel in the United States before finally deciding to go with Erin and Bartin Kennels. The entire process was wonderful. I had a million questions which Erin happily answered. Her communication was excellent. She kept me and all the other soon to be dog parents so well informed of every step in the process. Maximus just turned one and is everything I love about this breed and hoped he would be. He is beyond loyal and courageous. He is equal parts tenacious and goof ball. He is 60 pounds of go go go, but loves to snuggle in Grandma’s lap all afternoon. He can go from a rough tug of war to cuddling with the little kids on the couch. I am so grateful to Erin and her family for all that they are doing to produce amazing dogs. Maximus not only looks like a championship dog, he has the temperament to match. Again we are so grateful to Bartin Kennels for giving us this amazing addition to our family.

I feel compelled to to write this testimonial due to my excellent experience at Bartin Kennels. I was searching for a new puppy, after countless possibilities I ran across Bartin Kennels through “puppy find”. My experience was fantastic! From their door to door delivery service to their thorough vetting of what I was looking for , the process couldn’t have been better or more complete. I wanted an American Pitbull Terrier. I made clear that I wanted a nice looking dog. They sent me many pictures and videos of the parents. And finally the dog itself. Everything was so thorough down to the temperament of the dog they wanted to make sure I got. The parents happen to both be champions. The mother in dock jumping and the father in weight pulling. We spoke over the phone many times and as I said they made sure for me I got the puppy with the best temperament for me. Erin Tinsley ( owner of Bartin Kennels). The puppy (now named “Lady”) was delivered door to door from Spokane Washington to Cathedral city California next to Palm Springs. They still wanted to make sure how things went and how we were doing for a time after delivery. They also went over the vaccines that would be needed for her and the proper type of food that would be best for her. I Love my new dog so much, she’s everting I wanted. She’s beautiful. A breeder in Utah, who could not fulfill our wishes for a puppy, referred us to Erin, and we could not have been more pleased! From the very beginning Bartin Kennels was amazing! Very Professional. Erin provided excellent communication and coordination. She sent videos of the puppies right after they were born; with weekly update videos, until we met at the Airport. Amos was a bundle of joy and fun to travel with. One thing they did is have the dewclaws removed. I didn’t even know they were going to do that! Am pleased to report Amos has no leg or feet troubles from running throughout the woods. His fur is perfect. No skin problems and no hair in the laundry! He is muscular and strong with no health issues. Amos is a gentle and happy boy! Mr. Personality likes to talk and tell you what to do. LOL
Amos is a wonderful dog! He loves people, other dogs and even the cat. Very easy to train, he learned to shake the first day I tried to teach him. And boy does he know what a hug is, he can’t get enough of them. What a great experience. We sure love Amos! Thank you Bartin Kennels!

This is my experience with Bartin Kennels with a little back story. I hope I’m not too long winded. Over 30 years ago I bought my first pittie. She was a red nose with no papers. She was awesome! I didn’t know the history at the time of APBT’s. So I researched for months. We have had other pitties since then. At one point I found a kennel near me that had APBT’s that were papered. My “Lucy in the Sky” was a champion by 11 months. I did not show her, the kennel did as I just love the breed. I also got “Have Caution” from the breeder. They both lived long lives and were amazing. After they passed, the kennel owner also passed and I looked in my area for about 2 years for a kennel. Most within 500 miles were all XL Pitties or some other breeding. I only wanted a TRUE APBT. It was purely wild how I found out about BARTIN KENNELS. I reached out to Erin and we talked a few times on the phone as I am in Illinois. Luckily I have a cabin in Montana which is only 3 hours away. I decided to visit BarTin just to see what it’s all about and to see the pups she has in case I might be interested. OMG!!! I was invited to visit. I spent a few hours with Erin and a bunch of the dogs. I was SOLD. Erin’s passion and hard work and the dogs I had never met were sooo incredible!!! THE BEST EVER IN MY OPINION!! I purchased my Jade from BARTIN and she is the BEST temperament I’ve ever had period. She loves our cats and daughters and friends. I have never ever had a better dog than what I have now. Sweetest, friendliest, happiest, most goofy there has ever been. My daughters and their friends all steal my puppy to cuddle. I’ve had many dogs but NONE as what comes out of BARTIN!! I will always recommend to anybody to purchase a REAL APBT from only BARTIN KENNELS.
